I really enjoy picking from a collection of great tracks!

Having current chart-toppers in our videos has definitely upped the fun factor. We could really use more country tracks for our stuff, though. Lickd has really stepped up to help us YouTube creators out.

Every single track I've licensed via Lickd has ended up with a copyright claim on YouTube, despite me following all the guidelines perfectly. I upload the video, set it to unlisted, and include the license in the description. To make matters worse, songs that were previously cleared are now facing additional copyright claims. My earnings on YouTube have taken a hit because it takes DAYS to resolve these issues with their support team. I've been using Epidemic Sound for years without a hitch on any of their tracks. While I really dig the idea of incorporating popular music into my videos, it might not be worth all the trouble you have to go through. The only standout on the support team has been Josh Lally; he's super helpful, polite, and jumps right on clearing those copyright claims as soon as possible.

This new subscription setup isn't doing it for me. I'd be all over Lickd way more if I didn't have to pay a monthly fee.

I’m not really sure why there’s a need for a service that claims to offer premium music when it seems unusable. Nearly every track on YouTube has that copyright symbol. Most of your tunes are pretty dated and not exactly chart-toppers. So, it’s a bit unclear how one is supposed to utilize your music in this situation.

The costs have gone up, making it seem like they want folks to sign up for their subscriptions. The idea is solid, but honestly, I don't believe it's worth that much.

I found it super simple to copy the content ID into my descriptions. My videos went live without any issues or takedowns. The curated music really enhances the quality of my videos. Fingers crossed for a broader selection of electronic tracks down the line. (I'm a fan of future funk like Young Bae and retro city pop.)

Fantastic music and a super straightforward copyright clearing process. It doesn’t always function perfectly, particularly on weekends, but by midday Monday, things are typically resolved.

The recent price hike is gonna stop me from using this service anymore. It used to be 8 bucks, and now it’s more than 30. What a terrible decision for the business!

Lickd gives content makers like me the chance to license a ton of music tracks from big-name artists like Sam Smith and Lizzo for our videos. Having the ability to use popular songs as the background for our creative projects is a game changer that small artists didn’t have before.

It's awesome to tap into popular tracks that your audience connects with, all without the fear of that pesky Copyright notice showing up at your door.

I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars mainly because it feels a tad pricey, and some of the tracks aren’t actually Copyright Free due to international rules. I totally get it, but I really wish they’d do a better job labeling these songs. It’s a bummer to scroll through, listen, get your hopes up to download, and then find out, "Sorry, you’re out of luck, maybe try a different country."

I get that this is beyond their control, but just a clearer labeling system or removing those tracks altogether would be great. Overall, it’s a fun and creative addition to your music collection. The free and non-copyrighted music available is top-notch too. They just need to improve the player and playlist creation options; something like the Epidemic layout would be a solid upgrade. Thanks!
